ORIGENS 2026, Mexico — Event Recap
Over the past three days, Montenegro Concierge DMC had the pleasure of taking part in ORIGENS in Mexico City, an inspiring event built around this year's theme, "The Future of Travel Is Human."
For us, this theme could not have been more relevant.
In a world where technology continues to change the way we communicate, travel and do business, ORIGENS was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful experiences still come from people.
From genuine conversations and shared stories to new friendships and unexpected connections, the human element remains at the heart of everything we do.
And this is exactly what we had the opportunity to share through Montenegro — a destination increasingly popular with Latin American incentive groups seeking authentic, people-led experiences in Europe.
During the event, we were proud to present Montenegro not only as a destination, but through the people who make it special.
We had the opportunity to introduce some of the personalities, partners and people from Montenegro who are behind the experiences we create for our guests.
Because while Montenegro offers incredible landscapes, beautiful coastline, mountains, historic towns and extraordinary places to visit, we strongly believe that a destination becomes truly memorable because of the people you meet there.
A beautiful location can impress you.
A great experience can excite you.
But it is people who make you feel connected to a place.
For us, this is one of the most important things about what we do at Montenegro Concierge DMC.
We do not simply organise programmes and experiences. We connect people with people, and we believe that this is what creates the moments that guests remember long after they return home.
In many ways, ORIGENS gave us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate exactly that — and to show why we're seeing growing interest from Mexican groups in Montenegro as a fresh, authentic incentive destination.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the event was being able to reconnect with friends and partners we have met throughout our journey, while at the same time meeting so many new people from different parts of the world.
There is something very special about events like ORIGENS.
The business meetings are important, of course, but what stays with you are the conversations in between, the stories shared over dinner, the laughter, the spontaneous moments and the feeling that you have met people you genuinely want to stay connected with.
Some meetings may last only a few minutes, but they can lead to relationships that continue for years.
That is what makes the travel industry so special and thatis why we believe the future of travel really is human.
We would like to extend a very special thank you to the entire Avant Garde team for creating such a wonderful event.
From the organisation and attention to detail to the incredible hospitality, every part of ORIGENS felt thoughtfully created and genuinely personal.
It was clear how much passion and effort went into bringing everyone together and creating an environment where meaningful connections could happen naturally.
It was also a pleasure to meet and spend time with the people behind Avant Garde.
Getting to know the team on a more personal level made the experience even more special for us.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of ORIGENS and for all the conversations, encounters and memories we are taking home with us.
And, of course, we cannot talk about the past three days without mentioning Mexico City itself.
This was our first time visiting this part of the world, and the city genuinely surprised and impressed us.
From the moment we arrived, we experienced an incredible sense of energy, culture and warmth.
Mexico City is vibrant, diverse and full of character, but what stood out to us most was the hospitality of the people.
There is a natural warmth in the way people welcome you, speak with you and share their city with you. We felt it throughout our stay and it left a lasting impression.
We also had the opportunity to experience some of the city's incredible food, culture and atmosphere, and it made us realise just how much there is still to discover.
We came to Mexico City for ORIGENS, but we are leaving witha genuine desire to come back and explore much more of Mexico.
As we return home to Montenegro, we are taking with us much more than business opportunities.
We are taking new friendships, new ideas, inspiring conversations and a deeper appreciation for the people who make our industry what it is.
ORIGENS reminded us that destinations are ultimately about people.
Experiences are about emotions.
And business, especially in travel, is built on trust and relationships.
This is also what we believe makes Montenegro so special.
Behind every hotel, restaurant, boat, experience and beautiful location, there are people with stories, passion and a genuine desire to welcome guests and share a piece of their home.
That is what we want to continue bringing to the world through Montenegro Concierge DMC.
The future of travel is human, and after these three days in Mexico City, we believe in that future more than ever.
